Taking a break
So, as you may notice, I haven’t been uploading any new art for some time. The reason being is that I’m near the end of my second semester in college, and finals and papers and all the shuff is taking away all my energy. So, in all honesty, don’t expect any art from this blog or any updates for the Cynical Pony until early May. But I shall return!
So long and farewell.
What if Doctor Who was an American show?
I’d watch the shit out of it
Whoa, 2 in a row! I’m on FIRAY, baby!
Speaking as a citizen of the U.S., yes, an ambulance can be called at any time. Just be ready to pay over $1,000 for it. For those that say U.S. healthcare is the best then all I say is try being poor. You'll change your tune real quick.
WOW! seriously? O_O … but… but thats … wow..
what about students?! what about the elderly?
wwhat about those too sick to maintain a job?! D:
the only form of healthcare you have to pay for here is medicin, and in most cases the state will cover most of the costs o_o So, 1000$ for an ambulance seems… so unreal to me, wow
just wow…. I got nothing against america, but i’m brought up to differently to see the fairness in stuff like that ;_;
It is simply not the government’s responsibility to provide “free” health care to its citizens. It makes the people slaves to the state as the GOVERNMENT decides what’s best for your health, and not yourself.
Plus, hospitals in socialist countries like Denmark and Canada have horrible waiting times.
Mitch & Jonathan: The Doctor
(man, it’s been a while since I’ve released these.)
A new tenant moves into the apartment building, and Mitch and Jonathan can’t wait to see what sorts of shenanigans this doctor will bring to their lives.
Now that I’ve finished my 2-minute Film Appreciation Mid-Term which I threw together at the last minute, I can go back to drawing now!
In honor of Lil Miss Rarity’s 100th POST, I have a drawing that I THINK captures the mood of the blog.
Congratulations to Jaye and the masochistic lady herself on 100 updates and posts!
Seriously though, and don’t hate me for this, but I think I liked this movie more than I liked the first one. Maybe all those horror movies ended up getting to my head.
Yeah, I can see why maybe Shortround and Willy might be annoying, and why all the dark stuff can be too overwhelming for some viewers; but for me they never seemed that annoying, and the dark stuff was kind of justified judging by the silliness of the subject matter.
It’s not a case of the movie being good or bad, but more of a case of the movie memorable or forgettable. I am sure I will never ever forget the moment when Indy turns into a bad guy, or the mind-blowing thrill-ride that was the mine cart chase scene, which was awesome!
Speaking from a pure personal opinion, this movie is fantastic. But I can see why some of you might not enjoy it.
The art and backgrounds has really gone up a notch
